On June 19, 2002, the Lithuanian Free Market Institute, supported by European Commission Delegation in Lithuania PHARE Small Grants Programme, held a conference “Debate on the Future of Europe: a View from Lithuania.” The goal of the conference was to widely present LFMI’s position on major issues discussed at the European Convent as well as to stir up debates in Lithuania about the EU and Lithuania’s accession.
