LFMI Celebrates 10th Birthday Anniversary

On November 24, the Lithuanian Free Market Institute celebrated its tenth birthday anniversary. On this occasion LFMI honoured its founders, supporters and the team. "By accepting no funding from the government, we know that our work is needed so much as much private funding we can raise. We are an example of how people can unite their efforts for a needed cause rather than demanding government largesse. Acting on the same premise, we do not seek positions in power to promote a free market. We are seeking it by free word and irrefutable arguments. We have created a think-tank - an entire mechanism to manufacture and implement ideas. We have become successful manufacturers," LFMI's President Elena Leontjeva rejoiced in her opening address. The LFMI team was congratulated by LFMI's founders Professor Kęstutis Glaveckas, Dainius Pupkevičius, Petras Auštrevičius and Darius Mockus, LFMI's supporters, parliamentary speaker Artūras Paulauskas, the governor of the Bank of Lithuania Reinoldijus Šarkinas, Vilnius Mayor Artūras Zuokas, and others. |
