We enjoy the freedom of expression and the right to hear others speak freely; we are free to hold democratic elections, travel all over the world; to have a business, not just a tiny allotment house, to buy using real money and not vouchers and to sell without hiding; to read uncensored books and learn from them; to follow your vocation and not your appointment. Twenty years after Lithuania regained its independence, do we still cherish Freedom as much as we did at the time we were striving for it?
