Students from Post-Soviet countries are invited to studies in policy analysis, plus offered a scholarship

25-10-2011
Pardee Rand Graduate School (PRGS) invites students from Post-Soviet Countries to Receive a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis and offers Jeremy R. Azrael Scholarship

  • Ph.D. in Policy Analysis
Upcoming Information Sessions – Live and Online

The Pardee RAND Graduate School is now accepting applications for enrollment into the 2012 entering class. The application period runs through January 5, 2012.

The Pardee RAND Graduate School (PRGS) is unique in American higher education. Founded in 1970 as one of eight graduate programs created to train future leaders in public policy, PRGS focuses exclusively in the Ph.D. degree in Policy Analysis. It is also the only one based at a public policy research organization—the RAND Corporation.

•   The interdisciplinary curriculum focuses on analytic tools and methodologies including economics, statistics, operations research, and the behavioral and social sciences.

•   PRGS students gain practical experience and earn their fellowships through on-the-job training as members of RAND's research teams working on policy projects for a global clientele. As a result, PRGS students graduate with an academic and professional portfolio—or, as we say, "Curriculum Plus Vitae."

•    PRGS students can choose to work in one or more policy areas, such as children and families, education, energy and environment, health and health care, infrastructure and transportation, law and business, international security and defense, population and aging, public safety, science and technology, and homeland security.

Attend one of our information sessions at various locations this fall, or register for a "virtual" session to get your questions about the Ph.D. program—and all things related—answered by current students and staff.

Upcoming virtual information session:

Tuesday, November 8, 2011: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. PST

A reservation is required. Please register now to reserve your space.

For more information, please go to www.prgs.edu/admissions/#info-sessions.
